Joshua Mahan joined ENS Resources, Inc., in 2007 as an Associate. He provides client services in the areas of transportation, appropriations, water resources, conservation, alternative energy, homeland security, and the environment. Mr. Mahan’s blend of experience on Capitol Hill, non-profit advocacy, campaign work, and legal advocacy provides him with a unique perspective on key issues as well as the tools to devise and execute effective strategies.

Mr. Mahan joined ENS Resources after serving as a legal intern for the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment. Prior to his committee work, he was a Congressional Liaison for the American Jewish International Relations Institute (AJIRI) where he worked with Congressional staff and the Executive branch to monitor human rights issues at the United Nations. While working with AJIRI, Mr. Mahan worked on the successful campaign of Senator Ben Cardin.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Mahan served as a law clerk for the Honorable Richard H. Sothoron, Jr., in the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Maryland. As a law clerk, he was responsible for briefing and advising the Judge on issues ranging from administrative to criminal law.

Mr. Mahan is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Maryland and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. He is also an associate member of the Environmental Law Institute. Mr. Mahan graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law and Brandeis University.
